Poll: Bic Or Papermate?

So my friend and I were in our class and we got into a discussion of which cheapo pen we like to use. Rob says the Bic is superior to the Papermate because the pen cap is perfectly shaped for picking your ear. He also says the Bic tends to gunk up less than the Papermate. I tend to prefer the blue Papermate because I just like the way the ink flows. Any thoughts?
 
I normally write with gel pens by Pilot but if I need to use a cheapo pen, its a Papermate. Their ink is just better, nice and dark. Bics smudge easier and fade in an out a lot...

I've never had a PaperMate pen "explode" and spew ink all over my pocket.
I've had countless BICs do it, though. I always wondered if I could sue them for it....

Black bic, Blue Papermate. If I had to choose between them, then Blue Papermate because, as has been noted. the ink just seems to flow well.

Ooh your right, Papermate pens do have this special smell to them!

Well, I mean for a cheapo pen, I think Bic or Papermate is the way to go. Whenever I try using an expensive pen, I usually end up losing it the next day. Hell 8 bucks gets you 8 dozen papermates!

DJHEater, did you notice that too with Papermate blues? They are smoother when writing than the Bics or black Papermates. That's why I only use blue Papermates. ah...
 
I don't see why anyone would want a Bic. They suck and don't write well whereas Papermates have a nice, consistent inkflow and they look much more 1337 anyway.
 
I don't like ball point pens. I did an experiment with these two pens to see which contained pheramones, but I can't remember the results. I would draw a circle on a sheet of paper and termites would follow the line of the pen which contained pheramones. I don't know why I'm typing this so I will stop now. 🙂
 
papermates pwn in the cheap ball point stick pen world.

but with gel pens, pilot g-2s are jawesome. retractible, with ink that flows when you want it to. it's like buttah.

edit: i can't believe me 10,500th post was about pens.
