ok does like a NY Cheescake count as a pie?

its not really a cake per se...

also isnt lemon merengue and key lime pie pretty much the same thing?

since you didn't list banana cream, which is the best

i vote for key lime

p.s. pumpkin and sweet potato are really the same thing

The best I ever had was a Chocolate+pumpkin+cheese cake(pie). My Aunt sent me one from the Cheese Cake factory and it was unbelievable!

my loyalties tie me to pecan & conconut(obviously)pies, but how about a minced-meat pie anyone?

on a side note, pathmark(ny) has bakery fresh 8 inch apple, coconut, sweet-potato & a couple others $2.99/2for5/3for7. they beat out entenmann's in my personal taste test. 🙂

Pecan pie with a generous scoop of french vanilla ice cream! I love the nutty flavor of pecans combined with the sweetness of the filling and ice cream. Coconut cream is also good, but loses due to not having pecans.

Pecan or key lime for me.

But I like almost all pies. One of my neighbors made a tomato pie once. It was a little unusual, but not bad.
