I'm goin with Forsaken, StarTrek: Elite Force(I'm a Trekie😉), Quake III, Enemy Territory, i'm to lazy to think of any more.

ET is old school? it came out like... last year...

i'd say quake 2 because it had the best CTF i've ever played
 
Blood. Duke 3d was very good, and Shadow Warrior and Redneck Rampage were funny sort of one-off games that had some interesting ideas. But Blood was the one game that stood out for me. Hands down. Too bad the sequel was fairly lame.
 
Doom2
I can remember the Saturdays wasted playing with my friends drinking beer in the back of an old computer store on thier network.
We had a beta copy 9 months before release it was great.
 
Well, based on the games listed in the first post, UT2004 is old-school by now. Doom3 will be old-school next week. I think i'll just wait and vote for it.
 
Viper racing was pretty awesome i must say. i kind of want to play it after work now... was so damn easy to crash. Must have restarted races like 1000 times to beat that damn game.

Was? Still is dude. There's still an active Tribes community, especially the mod community.

Tribes is about my favorite online FPS, but I don't consider it old-school simply because people still play it competitively.

Quake 2 CTF is my favorite non-vehicular team FPS.

Blood 1 was, as stated above, one of the best DOS FPS games, though Doom 1-2 have to be given their due.

Ultima Underworld 1 was amazing for its time, with much more of a virtual reality feel than Doom.
