Limp Bizkit is lame. Fred Durst is one of the most pompous self absorbed rock stars I've ever seen.
You Iceland folks must have some goofy tastes in music 😉
 
CzarI love Air too! Listening to Sexy Boy or Kelly Watch the Stars on a good system is amazing! I am assuming you are listening to the Moon Safari album.
 
I twas a tough choice between "metal sucks, rap is better" and the Deftones, but I chose Deftones to be nice. 🙂

Limp bizqit does not suck, their new song "Rolling" actually sound fantastic. I agree that Fred Dust is an asshole and has a voice like he was in puperty, but great music nevertheless.

Cool, all I got is Moon Safari... how do the other two compare? I am not much into techno or even electronic music, but I couldn't resist Air for some reason.
 
They are very much alike Moon Safari, just more songs 🙂.. I recomend The Virgin Suicides expecialy

Slipknot, Incubus and Staind are such different bands it's impossible to compare them! Staind is in a completely different category, and Incubus only has one song that is ANYTHING like Slipknot's type of stuff, and that would be Newskin - Which happens to be a pretty kickass song IMO.

There are a lot of good bands there but, I chose Incubus becasue they are my favorite of those listed. I think that Dilinger Escape Plan is the best hardcore band though.

DISTURBED AAAAHAAHAHAHAH. They are a fake band. They asked the lead singer why he sang all wierd, and he said because he wanted to be different just like korn. He is a kornaholic. Disturbed sucks it.

Papa Roach has not nearly enough talent, although i like them a lot! 😛

HELLS YEAH. Im seeing them on the 27th of this month! I just saw them, and papa roach, pod, pennywise, orgy, mxpx, linkin park, and fenix TX on the 23rd of last month 🙂 Make the Deftones play &quot;Say it aint so&quot; 🙂 That song is the greatest!

POD is sweet, they ROCKED IT in concert.

Incubus does everything well, they are a great band. Deftones were 10x better in concert though 🙂


There are too many to choose. I like a *lot* of these bands. Oh, and *PROPS!* for putting on Linkin Park! They are really good, if you dont like their stuff, give it about 5-6 spins. Youll like it... It gets REALLY good after you get used to it.

SOAD put on a bad show at the Summer Sanitarium concert in Boston. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't really like any new metal bands, but if I had to pick one I'd say Disturbed.
 
Say It Ain't So rocks da house. friggin amazing song. another good cover is depeche mode's To Have and To Hold. they played that the last time they were here. it kicked arse.


as for limp bizkit, fred has a good band, but he can suck on scott staff's schlong. (i hope i got the name right. i'm trying to talk about Creed's lead singer).


ps: speaking of the creed guy, one person i know treated him at the hospital. he came in for his throat.....maybe it was fred receivin the lovin this time......whoahoho....crazy shiet going on there man.
 
Hmmm I would like to see Slayer and ObituarY among the elite. Cannibal Corps are great too, and how about Morbid Angel...That's metal.

hardly any of these bands are new, most of them have been around for ages. but anyhow, i voted for slipknot coz i've always liked them, and papa roach is awesome too.
