POLL: Best Man's Magazine

I think Maxim is the best...but Stuff has some great pictures. I love the trip back from the mailbox the day I get those magazines.
 
All of those are just pure crap with a few nipple shots thrown in every once in a while to keep the horny young men buying them. Give me my "PC Gamer" over any of those any day.

Oh man, a magazine on PC gaming is just the $hit isn't it? I'd be embarressed to be seen with a pc gaming magazine
 
Used to think Maxim was the best, but now I lean more towards FHM, it seems they have better pics now.

Well if you're not a gamer, then that's fine.
If you love playing PC games, but are still embarassed because maybe being seen reading a gaming mag might make you "uncool", then you have some self-esteem issues to work out. 😉 I'm talking about content here - those men's mage just aren't appealing to me (except for the abundant pics, I must admit), so I don't buy them, don't read them, don't generally have a very high opinion of them. But that's just my opinion, and you're welcome to disagree. 🙂

The mens magazines offer some pretty interesting articles. Playboy has some excellent interviews with artists, politicians, and various members of the entertainment industry. They offer a nice, uncensored view on things. Playboy does tend to swing to the left though, and sort of dodges conservative points, so you have to put up with that. They do offer some great movie reviews, a nice gadget section, and have some great tricks and pointers on just about anything and everything.

They are a lot like Rolling Stone, which I really enjoy reading as well.
 
Well vi very much said what I was going to. Do you really think most people hear buy Maxim to get the occasional nipple slip? That's what porn is for on the net. While true, the magazine is just another magazine without the scantily clad women, most guys I know (including me) read Maxim from the very first page to the very last page. Every article. I can't say the same for any gaming magazines.

maxim is actually pretty good... as i was flying from dallas to richmond this past sunday...i got a copy just to see what it is all about. very good articles... i read it from page 1 to the end. i wasn't bored on the flight because of it. i'm going to sign up for two years... $24.97 is cheap compare to the full retail price i paid for just one.

the pic with kristen dunst is hot.

and yeah, if i want porn, i can just turn on my sat.,

i'll try fhm next time i fly out.

FHM is alright....I have subs. to Maxim, Stuff, and FHM....Stuff is similar to Maxim but different from it....probably 2nd behind Maxim
 
I had no idea until this morning, but STUFF is the #2 selling magazine right now. Or, at least that is what FOX Friends said this morning.

I like Maxim and STUFF. Both are funny stuff. Generally people prefer Maxim and never even glance at what STUFF has to offer (which is just about the same thing).

I haven't read any issues of FHM, so I can't comment on that.
 
Isn't "Stuff", the leftover "Stuff" that didn't make the cut for "Maxim".

I thought I read that somewhere.
 
Having been a subscriber to Maxim for the past 3 years, I can say that in that time, nothing has changed. Which is not good. They seem to reuse many of their jokes, and half of the articles in there are just crap or plain unfunny.

Stuff isn't that much better. Aren't they a spinoff of Maxim anyway?

Gear is too sparse for my liking.

Playboy is a bit too cultured for my tastes. 😛

GQ isn't too bad. It's the OG, baby.

My friend turned me on to Esquire. Pretty good rag, I think I might look into that one more.

I vote for Maxim....I get Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Playboy...all for free except for maxim..thank you hot deals forum.
