I'll cheat and say that one of the best TV geek shows was Max Headroom. (And there was one movie)

My first choice would be the pirates of sillicone valley, but on that list would be the evil dead series.

For some reason, the first ones that popped into my head were "Revenge of the Nerds" "Army of Darkness" and "Porkys". So I'll stick with those.
