In light of JoePa's recent accomplishment, I think the question needs to be asked: who is the best college football coach ever? I have to give my vote to JoePa for the way he cultivated the program he did at penn state. But then again, I am a penn stater.
 
I have to follow my loyalties on this one and say Woody Hayes. Good, old fashioned "three yards and a cloud of dust" football.

Bowden... He took a former girls' school that was planning on dropping football as a sport, located in a state where practically all financial support goes to the University of Florida, and turned it into a program that has had an unequalled string of success for a 15 year period.
