Samurai Shodown 1 is definitely the best. I've been considering buying a Neo Geo arcade setup just for that game. Maybe when I have a house hehe.

benchiu, u do realize u could play the game using neorage, right? except the obvious fact that u cant play multiplayer, 2 players hogging 1 keyboard would result in massive keyboard jams :( i wish someone could program some network module so we could play it over the lan :D

SFII

the only game where i've actually seen physical fights over. someone cheaps another player (ie short short throw), words are exchanged, next thing you know there are a bunch of guys rumbling in the local arcade or 7-11. i've seen at least 7 of these incidents, and unfortunately, been involved in 2 of them myself

SF II takes the cake..

but I think all the SFII games should put put together as one vote choice, then it would really own the rest

Street Fighter II Turbo (also known as Hyper Fighting) was definitely the most fun of all the SF2 games and IMHO of all fighting games ever. I went to the mall on Saturdays SPECIFICALLY to play this game and I could play for hours and hours all day long. There was ALWAYS someone at the arcade to play this game. At about 5pm it always got packed too, there would be about 10-15 people around the machine at any one time and the line was just as long. I was one of the best Ken players at the arcade and could probably still beat most anyone. I miss those days... I don't HAVE to go anywhere on Saturdays now. Those were fun days I must admit.
