LOL. I got confused. I am actually in San Jose but voted Norcal.

first of all, san jose in the san francisco bay area, you nitwit. second, the san francisco bay area in northern california. so you voted correctly. need a geography lesson?

Location is not a matter of opinion. Who is the dumbass who thinks it is? Lacation is a matter of fact and the Bay Area is in Norhtern California.....period, now please start using your brain and stop wasting bandwidth.

no one from the bay calls the Bay Area "NOR CAL". No one i ever met. It's either The Bay or The Bay Area. Never heard anyone except people from SoCal call it NorCal

And no one from the "South Bay" calls it "the Bay area" or anything like that.

And if you ask anyone outside of SoCal the "Bay area" is SF

dumbest poll ever.

I'm in Socal and would say that the bay area is norcal, obviously. I would guess this stems from the term "south bay" Which is used in norcal to describe some area, (don't know what exactly) and in socal to describe the south part of the Santa Monica Bay (palos verdes, torrance, redondo beach, hermosa beach, mannhattan beach and el segundo)

I'm from the South Bay (San Jose) and I say I'm from the Bay Area. Do you know what you're talking about?
