Dumbledore (dude from harry potter right?) would probably weep at the sight of a Balrog, the ancient fire demon...Gandalf just takes care of business. Saruman is powerful but weak in another way. The rest just bleh 🙂
 
Yoda would be the first one to get squashed...little midget POS 🙂 Even before that harry potter wannabe 😀

did you see how slow he was? damn...Gandalf has the power to destroy Sauron, he just isn't allowed to use it. Yoda can make things float and read your mind. Big whoop. 😀

But Gandalf has the POTENTIAL power to enslave a world if he was ever corrupted. Yoda can only throw so many ships around before he's stopped...he ain't gonna rule the world like that.

I thought Gandalf was slightly less powerful then Sauron? To even quote from the book: "Dangerous!" Cried Gandalf. "And so am I, very dangerous: more dangerous than anything you will ever meet, unless you are brought alive before the seat of the Dark Lord"
 
jobberd, The Maia sent from the West could probably destory Sauron, but they were only allowed to aid/advise the races of Middle-earth. And the Balrog is nearly as powerful as the Dark Lord himself, Gandalf seemed to take care of him with relative ease 😀
(yes im stretching stuff here but the point is Yoda wouldn't stand a chance)
 
Actually, I change my vote, because although he may or may not be a wizard, he seems to be the most powerful being in the Ring Trilogy- Tom Bombadil!
