POLL: Battle of the package carriers

never had a problem with any of the carriers ive used by far

except that UPS likes to rape you when a package crosses a border.

UPS and FedEx are both good in terms of tracking/delivery times, but I've found that FedEx gets my package to its destination early pretty often, and it's a lot less expensive than UPS. Airborne is cheap, but its tracking is lacking.

FedEx - reliable, reasonably priced, and friendly drivers

They have no problem delivering my package to my apt rental office when I'm not home. It seems to be a huge issue for UPS to do it.

USPS is ok, but the lines at my post office seem to be endless no matter if it's holiday time or not. It's worth the extra few $$ to send it FedEX so I can get in and out fast AND get an updated tracking number.

I voted Airborne - those guys are hella fast, but it's kind of unfair since they are like UPS Next Day all the time that I've used them. I like FedEx as my favorite everyday carrier.

airborne seems to be the fastest for me

fedex express saver will never deliver early on fedsaver packages

that is my only gripe about them

sometimes it will sit at my local sort facility for 3 days just because it is waiting for the scheduled delivery date so it is a PITA

they won't even let me pick them up since they stay sealed in one of their shipping containers till the delivery day
