Who got a AXIA Athlon at Newegg.com & who didn't? (please include date of purchase).

ordered around the 15 or so.

i believe all the 266 fsb cpus to be axia, the rest not.

You have a better chance of getting an AXIA if it's a 266fsb type.
I ordered a 200fsb 1ghz from newegg a couple weeks ago and it wasn't an AXIA.

Ordered a 1gig 266 FSB on the 15th, got a week 11 Axia. Not all the 266 chips from Newegg have been Axia, but most have been. A few have been Avia, but those overclock as well as the Axias do. I have not heard of anyone ordering a 266 and getting any of the slower steppings.

I didn't get a AXIA from NewEgg. I didn't have a purchase date because I didn't order from them.

I just ordered a 200mhz bus thunderbird from newegg and got an AVIA.

Bought a 1GHz 200FSB that wasn't AXIA but arrived DOA! (and no, I didn't crush the core with my FOP32-1). Newegg was great about it, they aren't charging me the 15% restocking fee and will even refund my shipping. I've got a 1GHz 266FSB on order which will arrive sometime today. I don't mind if it's AVIA, as long as it gets me a minimum of 1.4GHz.
