What's everyone's average Mkeys/sec. Using how large/powerful a 'herd' ?
I'm pretty close to 2.00, but just started a couple of days ago.
& I need to replace this really loud PS with a quieter one before my classic athlon can run all night 😉

My work herd is averaging around 25MKeys a day, that is 1 dual PPro200, 1P166, 1 P166 laptop, 1 P2 600 laptop, P2 300 server, 11 P3 733 Compaq desktops, and 13 P3 750 Dell laptops, only a few are on 24/7 though. 🙂

nice.
I've just got my Tbird 800 running at 1Ghz. I also have an athlon classic 600. I need a quieter PS for that before I can leave it on 24/7. Also got a p75 lappy running 24/7.
(But I shut it down today, cuz it was pretty hot)

I only got into this yesturday! And I only got 1 computer! 🙁 But my Classic Athlon 650 is averaging about 2.23MKeys/s per block or whatever you call 1 of them. Not bad for a classic Athlon 650!

Albert.

I average about 25-26Mkeys/s (about 8000 blocks a day) with 7 Duron 800s, a PowerMac G3/266, a Celeron 450, and some scattered iMacs. The Durons make up most of the rate though, at about 2.75Mkeys each (2.75*7 = 19.25). Durons are really the cheapest way to go for RC5 performance.

Doing about 10Mkeys now, roughly quadrupled my output since starting in September. About the same as where you are right now. 10M seems like a lot until you see Russ, GeoffS, etc. 🙁 Getting to those rates isn't easy, but it is doable as they have shown.

There are two obvious ways to grow, build up your own herd or asslaminate--ideally do both. Most of my output is from my personal herd, but I'm kind of maxed out there (though I am eyeballing a 1.3ish TBird 😉)so asslaminating is my best approach to growth.

Well D.net would report my average as being 27Mkeys/sec but at the moment I'm pulling in about 35-40Mkeys/sec and that should be rising 🙂

Well you can have a look at my herd and what they're up to in my sig 😉

6,217 KKeys/sec today.

Just got my Dual P3 750 to start cracking and it's smoking what my T-Bird 1Ghz is accomplishing.

Still have two more T-Bird 900's to add to my home network when I get the time... 😉

My personal herd is 6x c366@550, 1x c533a@850, 1x c566@638, 2x P3-600@900+, and a P3-866. My network administrator let me assimilate most of the PCs at my workplace... still haven't assimilated our call-center though! There are about 75 P3-450s down there that I haven't assimilated yet! 🙂

Geoff,

You just passed me on the Full Stats at Dnet. I was wondering what horsepower you had. Glad to see you're on our side. 😉

I average 1,800 blocks a day on two machines. If the people at work don't turn off the few there I'll push over 2k. Haven't been able to muster up the backing to put it on the LAN at work. Its safe to say we'd definitely be in the same range as Russ and Geoffs if I did. 🙂

3.27 mkeys/s with my Duron650@937. I'm going to get another nic card and use this other computer to do some cracking too, I'll just send my stats in at different times since I only have 1 monitor.
