The Personal Insurance Company of Canada. (I don't care for them :()

As for you Canadians living in Ontario looking for a deal on insurance, try Insurance Hotline. There is no obligation, you just answer some simple questions (no name or number req'd) and you have yourself the lowest 3 quotes.

I used it a LOT when I was buying my car, and wanted to see how ridiculous the insurance was. :D

Allstate Insurance, and they charge me $70 a month for a 1998 Olds!! :|

You should extend your poll to include how much the insurance costs.

I would like to do that but there are too many possibilities due to gender, age, marital status, etc.

Bah! Actually, you could say the same of Derek at Red Flag Deals. He probably gets more hits than BigBigSavings. (not that i'm knocking Alex' site.)

Allstate and they suck.

I tried the Amex insurance deal, but I have a reckless driving conviction from 4 or 5 years ago and that excluded me from their coverage. Just because your points drop after 3 years doesn't mean that they still won't haunt you :(

That sucks I thought your driving record is wiped clean after 3 years?

Perhaps it varies from state to state or some insurance companies really dig back into your driving history.

State Farm....I have some issues...but overall I've been treated pretty good there.

It helped that my Parents have nearly 40 years there and my inlaws almost 30. I've been with them for 27 years and two teenagers....:D

When my 15 year old son backed the blazer out of the driveway without looking and paniced when he saw a car coming down the street and hit the wrong pedal AND hit two of our neighbor's cars...yes, they had State Farm...and waived the deductible because we both were customers, they made a friend! Me!

They have since canceled my Lead Footed Daughter and forced her to get other coverage and fumbled a couple claims but overall....

Horace Mann Ins. for me. My dad gets a discount since he was a teacher, I got into which was $400-600 cheaper than everyone else when I looked around. Now that I'm 25 I was about to switch to Allstate to save $200 from what mine went down to but then a friends brother had to wait forever for them to show up and do an estimate. I had to do 2 on mine and they showed up the next day.

Allstate, very happy with my service.

The fiancee and I pay $95 a month for full coverage on our vehicles, both of which are classified as "performance" vehicles. We also have one step below maximum coverage for medical and unisured motorist. Drawback is that $500 deductable is higher than what I look like it to be, but I'm too cheap to pay an extra $15 a month to lower it to $200.

Hopefully you'll never have to use that deductible.

Pay about $100 a month for my wife and I for full coverage on our 2000 Sunfire and 2001 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab with $200 deductable. Checked out the Amex thing for S&G, said that they couldn't cover me due to an minor fender bender I had over a year ago. This same accident made me look into other insurance companies after Geico, my agent then, shot my rates up to over $200 a month for the Sunfire and 1995 Escort.

AMEX cut my rates in half. I used to be with Progressive with the minimum coverage and a $500 deductible on two vehicles, and now with AMEX I have maximum coverage with a $100 deductible for half what I paid with Progressive.

And if anyone is worried about AMEX's customer service, I had to call on Monday to get them to send certification to the DMV that I had insurance. I went through a couple menus and was speaking to a representative within 3 minutes. She got the certification faxed out that same day. That seems pretty good for CS these days.
