Has there ever been an ATOT contest of some sort? Or a raffle of some sort to help donate money to an organization?
I was thinking of something along the lines of people donating like a dollar or two and for every dollar they get an opportunity to win something. We could do this once a month or so so that you get plenty of opportunities to win and its still not too often to take away the fun from it.
I can help run it as long as someone else can manage everything like the money, prizes, shipping, etc. because I'm 15 and not old enough to handle credit cards and the sort, even if I could, I don't know if my parents would let me handle contests for a forum, hehe.
Since we won't know exactly how much money people will put into it, we could make a list of how much is collected and what items you get or a gift certificate, whatever. I mentioned donating earlier, we can take like 20% of the amount collected and donate it to various organizations and the other 80% for buying items. The items could RAM, video cards, audio cards, speakers, mice, keyboards, monitors, etc.
Also, if this gets a good amount of attention and willing participants, then we could to talk some of the staff and ask them if all the subscribers get an extra "ticket" or basically a $1 that is automatically put into the raffle, that would give an incentive for more people to become a subscriber and at the same time help out AT and give out prizes.
Again, those are just ideas and maybe the subscriber thing is too complicated, but if enough people are interested I'm sure we can get someone willing to handle it.
