If I let the hair grow, I can probably grow a full beard as well, since mine grows on the upper neck, chin, nose/upperlip, sideburns area to the chin, and lower cheek. a lot of asians i know only grow on upperlip/nose and chin

It is pretty true in the general case, but I know of a few that can. Very seldom happens though. I know I can't.
