My take:

Armageddon: More glitz, exciting. Not as scientifically accurate.

Deep Impact: More boring, but more scientifically accurate.

Which did you like better?

Deep Impact. Tea Leoni's a hottie, & the plot is a lot better than Armageddon.

Armageddon was only good for Liv Tyler.

We had this poll a few months ago didn't we? Any way, Deep Impact was the biggest load of bollocks I've had the mis-fortune to see in a long long time. Extremely dull film.

Armageddon was so-so, but by no means exceptional.

Having said that, neither are as terrible as lost in space...

btw, Liv Tyler is a moose.

I just watched both recently.

I voted now for deep impact. I saw both in the movies and I would have voted Armageddon first.

The second viewing changed my mind. I like the scientific accuracy.

Uh, well...I actually really liked Deep Impact. The only redeeming quality about Armageddon is the scene when Willis is smacking golf balls at the green peace boat.

Definitely Deep Impact for me. Armaggeddon has Bruce Willis (why couldn't it be Pam Tillis instead?) in it, so I won't watch it.

I hated his demeanor in Moonlighting. I still hate him now.
