For home use, I usually leave a web browser open on one and work on the other, and occasionally play video on one and do other stuff on the other.

what happens when you play a game? does it launch on one of the monitors while the other stays on the desktop?

either stays on the desktop or whatever you happened to have open on that monitory
 
Dual CRTs at home, 1x 19" and 1x 17"

Dual LCD at work (at the moment, 14" 1400x1050 on laptop, and Dell 15" 1024x768)



Confused
 
dual 19in CRTs for Windows (though I have a third 19in CRT directly to the right for my linux box as well)
All running 1600x1200 of course.
 
1 19" Mitsubishi CRT and 1 Dell 1800FP 18" LCD

gonna replace the CRT with another Dell 1800FP once they are on sale again at Dell 🙂
