You need to add more options to your poll...I'm not against all deaths, but am against this particular one.

I support the death penalty in the USA, and believe it should be expanded to include more crimes than it does, but we had no right to execute the leader of a soverign nation.

We didn't... The Iraqi's did

We didn't excute him. The sovereign nation Iraq executed him.

The death penalty in the US on the other hand, I'm completely against. I think our justice system makes too many mistakes. I'd rather let hundreds of guilty men spend their life in prison than excute an innocent man (which I am certain we have already done).

How about an option "No, but he probably got what he deserved" ?

The OP isn't interested in any opinions that disagree with his own.

That's because I'm better educated than you are. Don't feel bad; I disagree with my 4-year-old nephew too.

And yet you make threads that are on about the mental level of a 6-year old.

Grow up or go away...I don't care as long as you shut up.

Waaaaaa. I thought I left you people behind in grade school. Stop following me.

Assuming your claims that you have a post-graduate degree are true, you ARE better educated than me. That makes this thread even more sad. 🙁

Based on your previous posts though, it doesn't take a lot of intelligence to achieve a post-graduate degree.

Intelligence isn't as big of a factor in schooling. Drive and passion are more of factors, but I am betting you that the OP isn't really as intelligent or as educated as he makes himself out to be, because by his responses and the way he conducts himself, it shows lack or poise and maturity (things you usually learn as you age and go to schools where everyone is expected to conduct themselves maturely).

I have many friends and peers who have post-doctorates or are studying for them, and most of them are pretty mature when they conduct themselves in front of people. A lot of those professions (law & medical) are like big clubs and you basically know everyone in them. If you conduct yourself poorly, you are only going to shoot yourself in the foot professionally.

Of course, some lawyers I know can be real dicks (only the males as I have seen), so who knows. Plus the anonymity of the internet makes it possible for ignorant jackasses to reign supreme.

**EDIT**
BTW, most of my friends I could probably school in a MENSA exam, but who cares. Intelligence is really overrated in today's society. The fact is I am about as lazy as they come and have lost any study skills I once had, but watching all of those people pursue what they want to pursue or accomplish what they want, really makes me want to do the same. Yeah, I am pursuing a post-doctorate, but man, it is going to take me 7-8 years starting from now, and I am going to be working full-time while doing it. <sigh> 🙁

Also that is only if I can ACE my prereqs and I can get into a reputable med school in State because I can't afford to do anything else. With my BS CS degree and my GPA, this will be highly difficult, but MCAT can save you. Otherwise it is PA school for me. Pharm would be a good career <that is one of my dad's PHD's> but I don't think it is for me (I want to be in the OR helping fix people).

Careful or he'll make a poor attempt at a witty response at your expense. Oh, the humanity! 😉

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know he had the kind of execution where you "live."

It's interesting that you chose to reply to that post instead of his post before it.

I'm just hoping the mods keep the "promise" made in that Forum Issues thread.

English ,motherfvucker, do you speak it? If you want people to take you seriously, you may want to learn to express your thoughts in a coherent manner.

You're welcome.

Sorry, WE, (the Bush Administration) control the Iraqi government, just as if they were puppets on a string...WE executed Saddam, we just used the puppet government to pull the lever...

Gawd I hate typing on a notebook...big farkin fingers anyway...
