shoot, the first hour, first day and first week are easy. anyone with half a brain can make themselves seem interesting early on. it's what you do 4 or 5 yrs into the relationship that really marks you. 😉

at least i've always found the first parts much easier.

having been married 10.5 yrs now, i can say, i'm interesting long term also, at least to my wife. 😉

It depends on the person and/or situation, but I'd say generally no. I'm terrible at social situations and barely speak at all in-person. I'm the guy at the party that spends the entire time in the kitchen by himself, awkwardly returning hellos as people come to get beers or whatever. Am I interesting online? Beats me.

Women are judged on appearance much more so than men, even by other women. It's sort of sad really, men grow in value as they age but women reach their peak at age 15-20 or so. This will perhaps sound sexist, but I haven't really been drawn to a woman for anything other than sex appeal. The average man is much more interesting than the average woman in my opinion. *hides*

something i've excelled a LOT over the past yr is my social skills. After working at home depot for 6 months at the special services counter (aka cust service), i've learned to deal with people of all types. With partying and meeting new people and girls, as well as having a girl i've liked for a long time become my best friend, I've become well adapted to holding conversations and starting them. It's some people who have a hard time keeping a convo with me that annoys me. Truth is, i gamed less, and socialized more. the more social i've become, the less active i have been in the forums and reading computer news.

there are a multitude of factors besides peak fertility (also, i'd like to see facts backing that up before i concede that) given the world we live in.....emotional, financial, etc, etc.

True. I just meant in the most basic rules of attraction, women are more desired for physical traits than emotional/mental.

Oh, I'm already sick of people my age (21). I look at men who are age 40 but are attracted to 20-something women and become incredibly puzzled. I can't relate to them at all and in some cases they're older than me!
