I'm watching an episode of the XFiles and it has to do with snakes. For some reason, I am DEATHLY afraid of snakes. I can look at them through glass, but if they aren't caged, I am frozen and don't know what I would do. Snakes are EVIL.
 
I live in rattle snake counntry. During snake season I am scared to death to go out to my buildings in the back yard at night.
 
Not at all. Though since I'm not really knowledgeable about which are and aren't poisonous, I prefer to give them a wide berth. It's spiders that really get me...

If it was poisonous.. I would keep my distance, not shriek like a little girl. 😉
 
My g/f goes nuts if she even thinks about snakes...I personally don't have much problem with them as long as they don't bite me 😛
 
As long it is not over 4ft and poisonous, I am coo w/snakes. I remember one of my boyz in college had several of them in his dorm room and we would cut class just to watch his snake feed on some rats.

No, believe it or not the spider is very friendly and even the scorpion is completely docile. They're huge and mean-looking, but neither has ever hurt anyone. The boa nailed me pretty good once when I disturbed him right before shedding, but that's about it. I had a different tarantula species before the current one and that thing was vicious. Would attack anything that got near it and it got me on the hand a bunch of times when I poking around in the cage. Tarantula bites hurt a lot more than snake bites.

If there's ever one thing that I'm mortified of, snakes would take the cake... the horror.... badgerbadgerbadgerbadgerbadger Ouuuuwww.... snakesss... SNAKKEESSSS>.....
 

No, I love snakes. My friend has two that wander around his house freely most of the time. I try to look for them whenever I'm over there, but they're damn good at hiding from me 🙂

I've been wanting to get couple of snakes or big lizards myself.
