Well, if I am downloading or uploading something then it stays on, otherwise I turn it off.
But it seems that I am always downloading, so it is on more than not.

On all the time. Just a restart here and there but I leave it on. Don't have to pay for electricity

If I'm not working on my computer, it is locked and the monitor is off with SETI running.

I don't leave the computer on. Why? Well I did last night, but that was because I had to feed my new DSL connection. It was hungry.

If I turned it off my DC stats would suffer. Monitors on all but the laptop are off 95% of the time though.

I used to Suspend mine at night because of the noise. That doesn't work any more, so I have to shut it off.

If I'm not downloading or anything I'll turn it off at night when I go to bed. It's too loud to leave on while I'm trying to sleep.

My power kept going on and off last night, so I just shut off my computer because every 10 minutes, I'd hear that stupid windows sound.

After shutting it off, I couldn't go back to sleep.

24/7 with SETI. Although it's Off right now(using other computer), have to remove dying power supply.

The only PC I turn off is the laptop, the rest stay on 24/7.
If your monitor is off then you're really not consuming too much power.

Mine is on except when I leave the house on extended trips. Like leaving for the weekend or week or whatever.
