No. The speed of the forums had gotten drastically slower for me before they started the subscriptions, and I don't believe it will change enough to warrant paying just to post on the internet.

I don't post here much but I do visit everyday. I get almost all my answers to tech questions from
searching and I don't use the PM at all. If it's very slow at the time I'm searching, I just stop by later.
But as much as quite a few of the members here seem to use this forum, it's seems to be a fair deal $$
wise.

actually, my dial-up at hom connects to the subscriber servers muh aster than my nice broadband at school connects to the regular forums.

Wrong! It helps a ton! That's my experience anyway. I think the full year was only about $30.00, so I didn't think twice about it. Hell, you guys blow that on round IDE cables, blow holes, 1337 neon lights and blue LEDs every week!
