I have about a dozen systems in my house (I've even ran Novell for my home network environment) of all types. I have a server closet (converted linen closet) and enough spare parts to stock a computer store (not kidding, easily enough). I always have 2-5 systems apart being upgraded or put together or whatever. I love learning new tech stuff, in fact I have a tech book case in my dining room filled with tech manuals back to DOS days. I'm heavy into fantasy and sci-fi, movies, collectibles, role playing, etc. I despise macho bs like sports, cars, beer, etc. Overall I'm about as geek as you can get.

I've got 3 pcs networked at home and a growing pile of parts/cases that I often buy/sell/trade here in the FS/FT forums.

I don't play counter-strike but I'm in an online NHL 2002 league (SinBin Online Hockey League) and get upset when I can't play at least one or two online NHL games a day. We play an entire multiplayer season. I have since learned a bit of html so I could build a web page for my team. Bad sportsmanship really peeves me, too.

I shake uncontrollably if I'm away from a keyboard for longer than a couple of hours.

I collect DVDs because...well, I'm not really sure why.

I met my fiancee before I owned my own computer. Thank god for that.

Big time geek. Most of my free time (i.e. not being with friends, girlfriend, or at school) is spent doing geeky things. Gotta love being a complete dork :)

Date: 1914

Yea, but i'm one of those cool geeks you hear about so often, yet we are so elusive. Kinda like The Lochness Monster or Michael Jackson's pigment.

El geeko supremo.
I've met all of my GFs online, but the relationship did not stay online (that is, we got together), so I couldn't choose 1500%

I spend maybe an hour or so online a day, that's really the limit of my computer time. I just happen to know alot. Gonna go with no.

No. Unlike many people here :)P), I have a life. :D I got to school (college) full time, have a girlfriend, play the guitar, enjoy boxing/biking/rollerblading/etc, but am also extremely lazy, which is how I end up in front of the computer for 1-3hrs per day (unless it's the weekend and there is REALLY nothing to do, then it may be more than 3).

Thankfully for me, I have enough knowledge of computers to hold a related job. :)

I guess I would be between geek level 100% and geek level 250% but I have a life and a kick ass girlfriend but I wouldn't have my computer for like 2 days I would start to have withdrawls and go crazy.

I don't know if I am a geek or not. I spend probably 4 or 5 hours on my computers each evening, although I do other things like play the guitar (and school of course). :)
