<< Oh you crazy Americans and your low flow toilets. No wonder everything's plugged up.
Come on up to Canada and smuggle across yourself a "Canadian" model toilet. I can use half a roll and it just sucks it all down! haha
>>

Exactly! What the hell ever happened to the good old '5 gallons per flush' version????

lol, you guys crack me up!

It is true how toilets abroad (i.e. not the UK) seems to have 'issues' with flushing 'the big ones'. For example, when we book out holiday, with all the info you get, i always get a piece of paper saying 'treat the toilet with respect' ( :) ) astheir sewer systems are not so good. We can flush literally anything down the toilet here in the UK - we have good sewer systems.

looks like sewer systems are our forte, cos we cant do nowt else (e.g. NHS etc.)

<< I'll bet Martha Stewart is a folder. In fact she probably takes scissors and stencils and things and makes decorative shapes and then puts the tp shapes in a cutesy little woven-twig basket for her friends. With special decorative touches for the holidays. Ghosts and pumpkins anyone? >>

28 wadders and 36 folders?? What the heck!? Anandtech is full of a bunch of weirdos. It doesn't matter how it looks when it gets flushed, so why take the time to fold?? :p

The water just softens it up anyways. What kinda weenie wastes time folding, must be the same kind that enjoys crafts and painting their own home's interior. :)
Wasted time is time spent inhaling toxic fumes. This should be an in and out procedure.

i fold. if you wad, don't you get the chance of having your fingers contaminated? i mean that's kinda sick cuz a finger could slip through....

No, the last foot or so show be used to "wrap" around the wad, in order to block any holes. It's an entirely safe procedure.

Oh, I'm a "reader" alright. I've got a friggin June issue of CycleWorld, I know that stupid thing inside and out. I could recite every article by heart!
I still say folding is a waste though. :)

Not necessarily. Some people may wad, initially, but then squish or flatten the ball to close up holes as well. So, I guess, you could say that some do both.

hmm... now for a poll to see just what exactly is done by those people who wad and fold...

We have our good days, and our bad days. Guess what kind this one is? :)

That's right, we've pulled out our "A" game today.
