Here's a clue, fellas. Strippers are real people and come from all sorts of backgrounds.
My wife was a stripper in a small town while she put herself through college. There was no better way for an 18 year old attractive young woman to make the same amount of money.
She continued to dance for several months after graduation...and that's when we met.
Turns out I'd dated a girlfriend of hers who was from the same town. My wife and I hit it off immediately and have been inseparable since. She quit stripping when things got "serious", but it was her decision. I think it was the right decision for numerous reasons, but it was one she made on her own.
Regardless, let me say that I've met the gamut of women at strip joints. Not to mention the numerous stories my wife has told me from the "inside". In my experience, many are "good respectable girls paying the bills" but of course, many aren't. Many fall into the "trap" of stripping and end up in bad situations, especially if they don't have a marketable skill.
