Anyone here into photography?

What kind of photos do you like to take?

Black and white? portrait? scenic???

I got into photography about a year and half ago... been at it ever since. I use a canon elan 2 35mm SLR, with a bunch of assorted filters, lenses and a new canon flash.

Unfourtunately, as I student, I hardly ever get to go out and really shoot for a while... If i had time though I would love to get into black and white scenic photography. I taught myself how to process black and white film, but unfourtunately no space for an enlarger.

Anyways, just thought I would start a new post...

Surely you can set the enlarger in the closet and move it into the bathroom when you need to use it right? 😉

I've done some work for student newspapers as editor/photographer and shoot with a nikon n50. I enjoy taking pictures of almost anything and missing processing my b&w film. Someday I want to setup my own little darkroom, but I'm more of a color person anyway. Any work posted on the web?

I have some scans floating around but almost all of my good stuff is on slides.

About keeping an enlarger in the closet, actually there is no room... but trust me I have spent many an afternoon trying to make room 😉

I'm not actually any good, but I do enjoy taking pictures of scenery. I put up some of them here: random pix.

This is one area that I would like to learn more about. Maybe I can get into some classes or something...

When travelling i always carry my Mz5 and a K100 loaded with BW. I have taken some amazing temple shots with my 500mm mirror and black and white film.

I'm not very skilled, but if i take enough shots something good always pops up

I like downloading good pictu... I mean yes, I like playing around with my digital camera, you don't have to let the film developers see it... I mean uhhh you can take nice pictures.

When I was in high school, I did alot of photography for our year book. My Dad built a B&amp;W dark room in our basement, which was real handy.

I had a blast taking sports and cheerleader pics. General people pics are fun too. And it is cool to sit in a blind in middle of the woods and see what animals come around, and every once in awhile you end up with a good picture!

Most of the highschool stuff waf black and white, everything else is mostly colour.

I want to get into doing some model photography, hey, who wouldn't? It is tough trying to find a photogenic girl that is willing to do some pics.

I have a Olympus OM1, and 3 lenses and a few filters. I sometimes borrow my brothers OM2 or his OM 4, and we swap lenses too. I also like using my Oly 460z digital, but I need something 3 megapixal or better. 1.3 megapixal often leaves me dissapointed.
