Poll and Suggestion for subscribers - Would you pay $10/Yr for @anandtech.com mail addy.

I know it has been mentioned before, but I forget exactly what the response was. However, I think it would be great to have an @anandtech.com email addy.

That is why it wouldnt be happening. Anandtech is a corporation or something. They dont want someone like me to have that corporate email address. I could possibly make them look bad.
 
hmmm...perhaps not using @anandtech.com, but perhaps if its a subdomain, like users.anandtech.com, that might work. However, Im sure that decreases the value to potential buyers.
 
I doubt it will happen, but if it did it would not be anandtech.com it would be a different domain as we cannot have people using anandtech.com in any way to send email. Maybe anandmail.com or something like that, i doubt it's going to happen though guys.
 
Naw, I like my current email coming to the house. And if we had this, it would be another anonymous email addy and it would possibly be banned at other trading sites.. 😉
 
Hmmm.... I have an e-mail server. Anandmail.com is an available domain.... The only ? is, did Anand copyright his name? 😛

anandtechmail.com would be cool, I'd pay for it as long at it was reliable ! 🙂
 
I doub't we'll ever do this, it would be an administrative nightmare, and a bandwidth consumption maniac. Sorry, can't have it all.

Understandable. Any word on the "And more to come" mentioned in the subscriber announcement (in November... *cough* 😉 )?

YEah, it would be really cool to have more of a choice in subscriber icons, the ones we've got are ok but there are such limited choices for the female members here,lol, I don't want to be a cow or a crow ! 🙂
