AMD is just as stable as Intel IMO... I have had no problems with VIA chipsets either. My K6-2 system - Shuttle HOT-591P (using MVP3 chipset), Duron system - MSI K7T Pro2-A (using KT133) and Athlon XP system - Shuttle AK31 V3.1 (using KT266A) have had no problems.... I may be lucky, but VIA has been great for me. While I have used Intel systems, I have found that AMD is just as good stability wise.

Cheers

Older VIA chipsets with Intel cpus were a pain. But once setup correctly, all platforms and chipsets work just as good. More personal prefs than anything else.

I'm using a via kt133a. AMD is actually more stable than my good 'ol bx chipset.

I can't remember the last time I had to restart, save when I changed from win98 to win xp.
