POLL: Am I the only one?

It seems that I am the only person in the world who dislikes the Simpsons. I've watched it before, and quite frankly it is not funny at all. The last time I watched it was at a friend's house; there was one point where they were in a restaurant and Homer started beating up Bart. Everyone else started laughing like it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen. I don't get it. What about you?

[cletus]Hey...this here feller doesn't not like them wacky yella Simpsonses! Pa, Ma, chillun'-LET'S GIT 'IM!!!![/cletus]

How could you not like the Simpsons? There are so many jokes "hidden" in the plot, it's not even funny...

i used to like it a lot. but the past 2 years it has really gone down hill, past the point where it should have been taken off. at least seinfeld had the balls to leave at a high note. the simpsons is now just milking the franchise. imo, you can tell they are running out of ideas. i dont understand why they became so unfunny, yet futurama (same guy) is freakin hilarious. every once in a while there is a good simpsons, but they need to give it up before it turns to complete ass and alienates everyone.

i'm stealing this concept from a Fox banner that can be found at Banc One Ballpark in Arizona:

Simpsons: History
Family Guy: Future

I use to watch it the first couple years then I got tired of it. Too busy to follow any sitcom weekly.

I liked them when they were 30 second bits in between segments of the Tracy Ullman show but have never been a fan of the series.
