i like deniro more

however, my brother recently gave me a Scarface poster for christmas....it hangs on my wall now

This is one of the most evil polls in ATOT history. It's like asking whether you'd like a Ferrari to drive for a day or sex with a super model!!

I had to go with Deniro, though. I've seen him in a bit more and what I saw I really liked. Plus, as evidenced in roles like Ronin and especially his comedic efforts, he is able to effect a range of acting styles. Pachino seems a little more typecast, though he still does his work wonderfully. He made a most excellent Satan in Devil's Advocate after all!

Whatever Pacino had....he lost. As much as I liked him in earlier years I find he over-acts now. He's always playing the same roll and his movies are getting to be vehicles.

I would have to go with Pacino cause he is prettier. and there was a long time that de niro was a role wh*re. He took everything and anything, good or bad. but de niro is more popular.

pacino. while deniro has good ability and films, his last 5 years of work have been shoddy. i dont see that turning around anytime soon.

 
Tough choice. They're both awesome, although their latest works have been pretty lame (Analyze That? S1mone? Please!) I had to give the edge to Deniro for his involvement with the TriBeCa film fest and his general presence in NYC.
 
How can I choose... yikes.

DeNiro is more versatile, but Pacino, typecast or not, just electrifies. Not that DeNiro can't carry a film either though. Crap. I may have to vote that they both suck donkey ass just for making me have to try and make a decision between them. They suck for both being too good.
 
Deniro snores with more feeling than Pacino anymore. As Red said earlier, all Pacino does anymore is yell, he's been playing the same character since SOAW (except for his performances in insomnia and devil's advocate).

Deniro has comic timing that Pacino could only dream about.

Don't get me wrong, I love Pacino too but.... It's not even close now.

If this poll was taken 15-20 years ago it would have been close but as it stands now, Deniro owns Pacino.

Now a poll between Hackman and Deniro..... that I'd like to see.
