Never, and I'm running win98SE. I've gone over 2 weeks between rebooting, and only rebooted then because my resources were way to low.

There is something to say about OEM systems.

What is freezing up? ;-)
Been running NT4 SP6a...not a problem. Only recently been crashing due to a dying hard drive...now installing Win2k and will likely have similar results...though Winamp is known to get a bit screwy itself after it runs for 2 or 3 weeks straight...
The only Win98 machine in the house (all NT4 or NT5--I mean Win2k :)) has to be restarted at least weekly...and all it does is play MP3s (It doesn't even have a monitor).

When I was running WinME, I had an occasional lockup... once a week or so. Switched to Win2k, and everything is great... Had a power problem last week that locked both systems, but other than that Nada... I switched OS's not because of lockups but rather, because of Memory usage, WinME is dreadful... Everytime I started a game, the memory ussage would go up, but when I stopped the game the memory usage would go down, but not to pregame levels, and it wouldn't until reboot... Win2k is much better...

Running Win98SE and had four freezes in the last year. All four were when someone had ICQ'd me while playing Unreal Tourney and it forced the game into the background...

Am running Win 2k and ME Dual Boot. On the Win 2k side it never has froze or locked since I went to 2k when it first came out. There have been every once in a great while an app that will mess up but I simply quit that process and the system keeps going! 2k is the greatest and very stable. In SE and now ME I get an ocasional lockup but with my current system even in ME it does not happen very much at all but with 2k I can leave it going 24 hours a day and come back anytime I want and it's running great.

MSI K7T Pro 2 + Win 98 or SuSE 7 = no crashes. Oh, Linux had a kernel panic once but that was my fault...
