If holding on to and promoting liberty, freedom, personal responsibility makes me a partisan kneejerk then so be it.
Detaining people indefinitely is not promoting liberty & freedom.
Something that both Bush and Obama believe in.
And I just thought that I would bump this in case you missed it. ;)
Wow, my views don't agree with the President. Call the police!

Sure, but you went out of your way to call out Phokus.

Okay, then don't you feel Palin looks weak in walking away from her governorship and hypocritical in her stance on Hillary Clinton complaining about being treated too harshly?

I did indeed, because he was being an ass and needed to be called out. As I said, I don't do it often, but when someone makes a comment like "I can see why spidey loves palin, she's a lying sack of shit divorced from reality", then I feel the need to say something.

I would have to say this: I didn't bother posting in the Sanford thread. I was on vacation during that time and saw it on CNN and thought to myself: what the fvck? This guy went to see his mistress and expected to get away with it? He is a dumbass and a douche.

With that said, that's SC's problem, not the nation's problem. Sure he left the state without transferring power and all of that, but it's not a policy issue that affects us as a nation.

From what I have read is that Palin have had to pay a lot of $$$ to defend herself against lawsuits. I would step down too if I were her when the entire media is out to get her.

Hillary was never a governor.

Wasn't he considered to be one of the front runners for the GOP in 2012?

Carter is supposedly a nice guy from what I have gathered. His (or Volker's) fiscal policies lead to the economic expansions in the Reagan years, IMO.

Obama's fiscal policies is one way to hell for America. There is a big difference.

I don't really care. I'm not a Republican (as I have said time and again). I thought Romney was the frontrunner?

I wouldn't mind if a someone ran on a family value platform, provided that they're true to their words and not cheat on his/her wife/husband.

"I don't care" is the way out of a fool... and if you "don't care" then any points you attempt to make look even more foolish....

State your case, or shut up...

Wtf are you talking about? You asked if Sanford were a front runner, and I just stated my indifference to who the GOP's presidential ticket front runner is.

You lack reading comprehension skills.

Exactly how educated is someone about politics when they think that the Bill of Rights somehow can't be altered, anyway?

I'm not sure. But this thread has drawn out the leftist circle jerk like flies to shit. And it's just poll results of somebody who has no influence. It's like a bug lamp - they can't help but be drawn to it and be zapped.

And if you remember I said "I think". It's what we educated people (who understand the limitations of our knowledge) use as a qualifier to make a statement of question and not a statement of fact.

You are misinformed. I believe you are an idiot. I also believe you are uneducated.

-edit-
I'll save you the trouble...see how I said "I'm pretty sure?" That means I am not totally sure, ending with a question mark. Do you know what a question mark is?
"I'm pretty sure you can't touch the Bill of Rights?

-edit-
crap, I thought you said 2nd

I thought I already addressed this. Sorry, I didn't read the other thread regarding your point.

I believe that nothing good can come from Palin's political career with her actions and decisions of the last 5 days.

I have better things to do than waste time to explain your logical inconsistency to you, but here it goes:

Me:
Palin is not qualified to be president.

Sanford is a douche.

You:
Wasn't he considered to be one of the front runners for the GOP in 2012?

Me: I don't really care. I'm not a Republican (as I have said time and again). I thought Romney was the frontrunner?

You:
"I don't care" is the way out of a fool... and if you "don't care" then any points you attempt to make look even more foolish....

What point? What backpeddling? I stated my opinion on Gov Palin and Sanford, respectively. I really don't care about who GOP nominates for a presidential election 3 years away so long as your Obamessiah is defeated by a fiscally responsible and honest candidate. Could be a Democrat (fat chance! you all love your Obamakoolaid), 3rd party, I don't care.

Maybe you're just pulling words out of your ass about something I didn't say.
