Jesus Christ. LMAO... I can't stop laughing. Obama sucks so hard, people are starting to look at the Bush administration with wishful nostalgia...

"Remember the good ol' days when Dubbya was president? Gee, I miss those days."

Bush closes the gap - December 09, 2009

Public Policy Polling:

Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. The closeness in the Obama/Bush numbers also has implications for the 2010 elections. Using the Bush card may not be particularly effective for Democrats anymore, which is good news generally for Republicans and especially ones like Rob Portman who are running for office and have close ties to the former President.

That is the best and funniest thing I've read all week. That really says how much the public disapprove of his policies and actions.

In the first 11+ months of the Bush administration....what did he accomplish, and what happened in America in that time frame?

Do the same for the Obama administration.

Compare.

Choose which one you want.

Maybe we should look at what Bush DIDN'T do in his first year in office... Like put the country $1.4 trillion deeper in debt for instance. It took him a few years to work his way up to that number.

Obama has had the most horrific first year as president I've ever heard of.

fuck you're stupid. Christ.

What was unemployment with Bush? How much did peoples incomes and net worth improve? Did they take home more money after taxes than before Bush?

The answer is low unemployment, net worth improved, stock market roaring and people paid less in taxes. That's what you call good times.

Was just reading an article today about people's net worth are going to take years to get them to where they were in the Bush years.

Businesses are scared to death to do any expansion or hiring exactly because of Obama/Congress policies and tax penalties. So yeah, it is different.

You'd have to be mentally deficient it you don't think that it was GWB's policies that produced the current loss of jobs and wealth.

Listen children, this is simple politics. Who woulda thought that 44% of America - which pretty closely coincides with the % that voted for McCain, who campaigned on the George Bush platform - would rather have Bush than Obama???

Anyone that looks at those numbers and takes it as a "win" for them, or a slap in the face for Democrats/Obama, or really who thinks anything other than "uh, no shit" is an ignorant buffoon.

This says a whole lot more about how stupid and how short a memory the public has than it does about Obama. Also, 40% or so also believe man plopped into existence about 10,000 years ago so. I'm guessing there's some heavy crossover action between these groups going on.

Obama has had the most horrific first year as president I've ever heard of.

Let's see, he was left two wars, an economic depression, a housing collapse, a crashed stock market, rising unemployment, and america's standing in the world viewed as a torturing empire teetering on the brink. Gee, I'm shocked things aren't running smoothly for him...

Hmmm....

While much has been said about President Obama's falling poll numbers, Tom Jensen notes that he is not alone.

Although Obama's approval/disapproval spread between April and December has fallen ten points, Mitt Romney dropped nine points, and Mike Huckabee has fallen eight points. Sarah Palin has only lost two points, but she has had consistently worse ratings than the others to start with.

"These numbers suggest that at least part of Obama's decline in popularity can be attributed to a general dissatisfaction of voters with politicians right now regardless of their party."

I'm shocked that no one has brought up the 35% of republican voters (20% of entire poll) that say Obama should be impeached. Throw out that loon group and you're down to 24% for W ...

Easy to do when give people/business/municipalities unrestricted credit. Now comes the repo man and the tax man bills are due.
