THE MAIN CHARACTER YELLS ALL THE TIME IN THE TRAILER!

IS THE WHOLE MOVIE GONNA CONSIST OF HIM YELLING AT YOUR FACE FOR 90 MINS!?

NOT ONLY DOES HE YELL, HE EXAGGERATES HIS FACIAL MOVEMENTS WHEN HE MAKES YOUR EARS BLEED

THIS. IS. SPARRRRRRRRRRRRTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No he doesn't. He asks his wife in a calm voice what he can do for his country.

Then turns her over in bed, does her from behind and yells "THIS IS SPAAAAARTTTTAAAAA!"

I think I saw this scene already. Didn't it go something like...

"I command in the name of the Senate and the people of Rome"

I also remember a ring, a flower, and lots of blood. 😉

whats annoying is that the Spartans wore tunics, not daipers, and had armor and breastplates. If men like this really fought at Thermopolaye, they would all have been easily owned.

true that

they also didn't fight 100,000 persian warrios last I recall. It was like 1,000 or 10,000 I think. 300 vs 100,000 = ownage any way you put it.

unless they had phasers

or a vulcan chain cannon and 10k+ ammo (aka Doom)

hell.. BFG9000 FTW!!!!!!

I think it looks corny. I snickered one too many times watching the 'epic' and 'dramatic' moments in the trailer.

Sources say you are wrong. And in fact, a little spoiler for you. The 300 die.

It was well over 10,000 persians.

However, the spartans also had about 5,000 greek allies.

they knew they were going to die.

the fact they held off the army is amazing. if not for a traitor who knows what would have happened.
