Maxima. Great engine, large interior, stereo, reliability, etc. Jury is still out on if Honda is done with its transmission woes.

If I could get into a loaded Maxima SE for that price, i'd go for it.

Initially I didn't like the styling of the new Max, but it's grown on me to the point where it's now one of my favourite designs. 🙂

Get a 99 Maxima. It's better than the pre-2004 Accords.

And it has a high quality interior (if that matters to you) and its just as reliable.

Oh and its cheap. < $12k USD.

Accord is boring.... Maxima is sweeeeet 😀

I guess you haven't driven the Accord Coupe V6 6spd ??

it was always stupid before that the V6 always only came in automatic.... LAME!

Yeah I've heard that launching the maxima is very difficult because the thing just won't grab the road with the stock tires.

Anyway, motion to ban vortexx22 😛

He's an idiot for comparing the Maxima to the Accord coupe anyway.

Well it isnt the tester's fault that the traction sucks. It could have 1000 hp but still be slower.

And why is that? Because the original poster said something about only wanting a sedan that I missed? Or it is because Nissan has failed to make a Maxima coupe?
