Which one do you guys like better??? help me pick which one, sapphire or diamond. they are from tiffany and co. the diamond is 185 and the sapphire is 145. Dont base your decision on price, i got money from all the hot deals around here, lol. here are the pics

I like the sapphire.

My (female) friend likes it to.

Her boyfriend (who works in a jewelery store) prefers the Diamond.
 
Save the diamond for when you ask someone to marry you. No diamond rings until that point.

So, go with the saphire.
 
Both are beautiful, but the sapphire is more so, go with the sapphire 🙂

Plus, I don't think stones should just be the birthstone.. my birthstone is the sapphire but I'd love to get a ruby or emerald, eg
 
I wouldn't stick to the birthstone thing either. My gf's birthday is in August, and her birthstone is peridot, which she doesn't like because it is kind of an ugly green color. So she likes sapphire jewelry. 🙂

diamond is a ripped off anyway... why buy a real diamond when you can get a crafted gold ring with 1 carat CZ?

no one can tell the difference since 1 carat is not big enough. of course, you'll need to okay it with your wife/gf first.

in my opinion it is better to invest in the ring itself (for example platnium ring). than a stone (as seen on 60 minutes).

so i'd go with sapphire.

My birthstone is a Diamond so Ha! no escape for anyone... but then again i'm not a girl so what are the chances of a girl getting me a diamond ring?...lol... i'd go for either one actually... but the diamond looks more expensive. just wondering... where are you getting this? Tiffanys? Get ready to shell out cash... girls just love showing off those little blue gift bags. 😕
