Poll: 2 forums?***

hahahaha
are you kidding me
that's like making lauch platforms for flame wars
j/k
people would just go to the other forum everytime they had some anger to take out on the world
no need for segregation
heh

I am in favor of it for only the more technical help advice of it....I like the often intelligent debates on cpu articles, but have to admit as an ex-amd owner I am not happy with the blatant ignrance and fud spreading by certain amd fans...

So in short...Yeh lets build the wall!!!!😉

ssxeon I am not sure about intentional errors....antiamd is definitely laying it on thick.....

However I here more bs and attacks in Intel specific threads by amd fans...So I guess I am talking about thread crapping as well...Also quite a few can't seem to get facts straight on performance even when a review here at this site states it....I am waiting for the day when I will start hearing a 2200+ equals a 2.53...It seems to grow more and more with time!!!

Keep it the way it is, everything's fine now. Sure, we have occasional heated debates, but its all good. The only time it becomes any kind of real problem is when trolls show up (such as what happened in a very recent thread), and I don't see how splitting the forum will help that any.

keep it how it is

i want to see whats going on in both worlds (intel and amd) without having to scroll through different forums

Awwww.... The moderaters pwnd me... Least they didnt shut down the poll... 🙂
I agree with ya duvie... Id rather have a place that I can go to get help, look at ideas, ect... without having to pic out threads through the AMD field

most threads are not specific to either amd or intel

for example a thread on "reasons for BSOD" (so the guy says he runs a P4...it may have nothing to do with intel... might be a bad stick of ram, etc, etc)
so you cut your help in half if you slit the forum in 2 groups

What? What FUD?

SSXeon

Erm who cares. A cpu is a cpu. I think having all the cpus in one forum is a good thing. Lets people see the aspects of both cpus.
I used to have an Athlon XP. Was a great cpu but a lousy overclocker. Now I have a p4 1.6a. It's not as efficient as an Athlon XP but it runs cooler and I'm getting 2.5ghz out of it.

Nah, you're not really guilty of FUD. Biased speculation, maybe, but I think we're all guilty of that once in a while.

AntiAMD, however, is BS'ing about how things are now. So he's gotten classified as a FUDmonger.

If you only knew how hard that last little bit made me laugh, and I wasn't laughing WITH you...

You really should work on your people skills Kell, you're not being very nice. I mean I've never called you a PUDmuncher or whatever it is you called me.
You guys (AMD fans) take it all too seriously, it's just a cpu, why on earth do you guys get so upset over it? I mean really, you could tell me Intel is crappy and overpriced, I wouldn't attack you personally, I might even agree with you on some points. Intel doesn't own me, I own an Intel, learn from this statement.

I think we need to change the title tp 3 forums...One for Intel...One for AMD...and one for AntiAMD....

AntiAMD...While I can definitely agree with many of the points you make...IE I switched back to Intel for many reasons that I don't need to harp on....

However you are very counterproductive here. You are offering nothing positvive or informational. You are in attack mode (some personally) and fanning the flame wars many of us around here tried to squelch about 1 year ago. Many top members left the forums altogether cause they saw this as being a place of personall attacks and little thought provoking and/or intelligent debates...

In conclusion if you can't offer anything productive in ocing or cpu's...Hit the Road!!!!

It isn't AMD ppl...most INtel ppl don't like your actions as well...

Duvie, I've only ever really posted in the one thread. If I was posting all over the place looking to start a fight, fine, I'd hit the road myself.
But really, the thread starts with "So much AMD love" don't blame me for starting it, and it takes two to tango, so don't blame me for carrying it on.
One thread, not a hundred, not all, one. I think most people are intelligent enough to know better than to carry it over into all threads. It's healthier to keep it into one, and it makes for more light hearted reading.

So as to not get a whole bunch of people going in another thread, this will be my last post in this thread (now you can all flame me and call me names, I promise i won't fight back 😀

Am I included in that, Duvie? 😉 I admit to aggravating the fanboys now and then (not meaning yourself; you are objective about things and help out people with problems on either brand of system, while some of the big-talking "experts" never seem to lend a hand to anyone).
