Maxtor, followed closesly followed by Fujitsu. Seagate has completely fallen off the boat with their current generation of SCSI drives, avoid them.

Fujitsu or Maxtor, but given the prices between the 15KII and the MAU, the Fujitsu comes out ahead by a bit. Stat-wise they are just about the same. The Seagate 15k.4 doesn't compare to either of these two drives. Their 15k.3 was good, but with current generation 15K drives, consider only Maxtor or Fujitsu, and pick whichever is cheapest.

I dont know much about these types of drives but most people will probably vote seagate because of there 7200rpm drives.

Maxtor Atlas or Fujitsu are at the top of the SCSI food chain right now, but you had better have a fat wallet if you want the latest models... See storagereview.com for all the straight dope on SCSI. Don't let their boo-boo on the new Seagate SATA scare you off (they failed to test in its best performance mode).
