They'll go quick like last time. Make sure you order them online, some people had problems if they called up and tried to order over the phone.

I got mine in 3 days (ground delivery) and they're great looking and sounding speakers.

You could try placing 2 separate orders. They might not even notice.

Nice find! Been wanting to get a decent pair of floorstanding speakers.

Shipping was $20 to IL (but also got charged sales tax) so 128 out the door

I can confirm that they are cherry. I bought a pair in the last deal posted here last week when they were on sale for this price then.

OK, Thanks.

I have all Polk speakers now and they are all black. I was just hoping picture was right as Polk website doesnt show them availible in cherry that I could find. Frys shows both but only cherry on sale. May have to give them a call. Really want to keep tham all the same.

Good speakers at a great price.

Is this deal available B&M? I thought it was last time they put the R50s on sale, but I could be mistaken.

This was a web-only deal the last time they were on sale, but they could do doing it in the store too. Last time the deal only lasted like 2-3 days before they reverted to $119 each.

how do you like 'em?
For the price, I think they're a good deal especially if you're not looking to drop a small fortune on a HT setup. I have them being powered by my Kenwood 100-watt per channel receiver and they're also doubling at the .1 in my setup until I can afford to get a decent LFE channel. Someday I might get another pair just for a stereo setup in the bedroom.

I bought the R50 speakers when they aere on sale for $79 each and they are great sounding and great looking. The R30 are good but I would wait and get the R50.

If the extra 5Hz on the lower end of the spectrum is that important to you, yes you should probably wait for the R50's to go on sale. Otherwise this is a great deal.

Hey! I've been skulking around your site for some time, but haven't bothered to sign up yet. I just wanted to say THANKS for this great deal! I have been looking at floor standing Polks for about a year for a second room, but didn't want to spend a lot on something that wouldn't get used much. This deal is PERFECT! Even my wife likes them!

I'll be on the lookout to try and return the favor to you guys! Thanks again!

I'm certainly no audiophile, but I do buy a lot of speakers. Anyway, would these sound good just connected to my apex dvd player? I don't have a fancy a/v receiver or anything, and I don't wanna waste my money. Thank you.

You won't be able to connect these directly to your DVD player; you need an amplifier of some sort. If you aren't concerned about high quality audio then just find a cheap reciever somewhere.
