Niceee, there no different then the bookshelf speakers except a little more bass extension cause there size and you dont have to spend money on speaker stands... to bad they wont fit on my desk 😀
 
Anyone know if these would go well with the Monitor 30's? I bought those back when frys had the R15's for 49$/pr and the sales guy talked me into the more expensive monitor 30s, i want to use the monitors (bookshelf) as rear but i dont want them over powering the fronts
 
Sweet, I had to jump on this. I really need a better pair of main speakers for the living room that the small set of Sony's I had been using. I'll probably rotate these to the bedroom or office when I upgrade these later on.

BTW, CC has them going for $329.98 pair.

Hmm..I have an Onkyo 760 home theater set, tied to an Onkyo HT501. Anyone think that R30s for front and R15s for surround would be a huge step up? If not, I'll save up for a set of Axioms. 😎
 
wrong price? I get 119.99 at checkout, but it says R30 Cherry - Each. Is that the price for the pair or just one?
 
Check your quanities, when I first went to site and added to cart it came up as 169 or something, but the QTY was set to 3. I set it to 2 and everything was set. 124 shipped.

I add them to my cart and is says like 239, plus 23 tax plus 43 ground shipping, = not a hot deal, they do say 49.95 before I add them to cart though, outpost's website is getting worse all the time, and cc has the r-15 bookshelf speakers for 49 each now, I didn't see these at all there.
 
Mine shipped already too, Order Total: $132 for 2 (I have to pay tax @$7 because there's a Fry's in my state).

I checked and they're up to $119 each now. Must have either been an error or a quick fire sale!

DOH! I just bought a pair from someone used yesterday for $130!

But nonetheless, I didn't get totally ripped off since these are great speakers. I am using a Yamaha receiver with them and 16gauge MonsterCable XP wires. GREAT sound. Surprisingly good bass with small subwoofers.
 
looks like the deal is back. Cherry are 59.99 each, I had to clear my shopping cart for the correct price to show up though. Everyone else paid $25 for ground shipping via airborne express?
 
They attempted delivery of mine yesterday, but my fiance slept through them knocking at the door so they redelivered them today. They're waiting for me in my living room at home until I get off work in a couple hours. I'll post back tonight on how they look and how well Outpost/Airborne treated them.

Coming up $59.99 each for me although ground shipping is almost $50. I think I'll see if they have 'em at one of the local Fry's
