Political stunts in regards to gun reform

On Tuesday, April 9th before the families of the Sandy Hook incident, Dear Leader said the following.

“Some folks in Washington are already floating the idea that they may use political stunts to prevent votes on any of these reforms.”

I ran across an opinion piece this AM that I wanted to share. Obama doesn't pull any stunts, but those that oppose him do? This is like having a child as a President.

http://masermedia.org/dianny-rants-contemptible-stunt-master-slams-conservatives-stunts/

“Some folks in Washington are already floating the idea that they may use political stunts to prevent votes on any of these reforms.” [Barack Obama at Connecticut Anti-Gun Stunt]

Boy, those dastardly Conservatives in the Senate who have the unmitigated gall to use Senate procedures to do what Senators are supposed to do! How dare they?!!

Don’t they know that the only person who is allowed to use “stunts” is Barack Hussein Obama?!

If there were ever a temporary politician who knows a “stunt” when he sees it, it’s Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama never met a stunt he didn’t like.

Speaking of Obama and stunts…

Guess who hitched a ride from Connecticut to DC along with Barack Hussein Obama aboard Air Force One.

Why, the families of the victims of Sandy Hook, of course!

Why? So they can be used by Obama as political props in another “stunt” to try and pull at the heartstrings of the American People, and run roughshod over the Constitution.

So, now Barack Hussein Obama uses taxpayer funds to fly Sandy Hook victims’ families to Washington to beg Congress to ignore the Second Amendment and violate the rights of law abiding citizens.

Talk about a political stunt, and at taxpayer expense to boot!

Earth to Obama, the Senate isn’t there to ignore the will of the People and push through your radical agenda.

We the People believe in upholding and defending the Second Amendment, not to mention the entire US Constitution. These Conservatives in the Senate are seeing to it that our voices are being heard in Washington.

These Conservatives in the Senate are doing what we have been begging them to do – standing up to the Man Who Would be Dictator.

But to Barack Hussein Obama it is a “stunt” to make sure that the will of We the People is heard.

Who the hell do We the People think we are demanding that we have a voice in the US Congress?!

Who do we think we are standing in the way of this tyrannical, arrogant jerk’s “transformational” agenda?!

And who the hell do those Conservative Senators think they are defending the US Constitution?!

Why, you would think they took an oath to defend the Constitution the way they’re acting.

This President is like an opportunistic infection, a parasite who is feeding off of We the People, committing political rape by forcing on an unwilling electorate his socialist agenda.

So while the US Taxpayers foot the bill for the families of Sandy Hook victims to fly to DC on Air Force One to perform like trained seals in another Obama “stunt,” Conservatives in the US Senate choose, rather, to ignore Obama’s contemptible using of victims, and instead choose to stand up for We the People – to stand up for our Constitution.

And this opportunistic demagogue, this parasite calls what they are doing a “stunt.”

Sickening.

You know why Obama is crying foul and working himself into a snit about this don’t you?

He remembers March 6, 2013.

And so do we.

His “Take Republican Senators Out to Dinner Stunt” got upstaged by some Wacko Birds in the Senate.

The Rand Paul filibuster put fire in our bellies.

And Obama knows that if the Conservatives in the Senate do it again he’s S.O.L.

Don’t be fooled.

Pro-Second Amendment, Constitutional Conservatism is winning this fight against Gun Control.

We are winning.

That’s why Obama is in a snit.

That’s why he is using taxpayer money to fly the Sandy Hook victims’ families to DC.

He needs another “stunt” to try and sway popular opinion.

Make no mistake about it. The Constitution means nothing to this man. The Second Amendment, just like all the other Amendments are meaningless to him.

And the very fact that the American People get fired up when Conservative Senators stand up in defense of the Constitution sends this petulant, thin-skinned parasite whining like a child who doesn’t get his way.

Obama sputters in rage and recoils from Constitutional Conservatism like a vampire fleeing a cross.

In his arrogance, he believes that all should bend to his will – that nobody dare stand up against him. But this is exactly what We the People have been demanding from the GOP – a viable, fired-up opposition unafraid to confront this demagogue with the truth.

Poor, petty Obama.

He’s learning the hard way that his silly, superficial “stunt” of a presidency is no match for the US Constitution and those that would defend it.

'all [constitutional] amendments are meaningless to him'
'petulant, thin-skinned parasite'

Do you actually read stuff like this? It sounds like spidey07 wrote it.

Sometimes you guys worry me, as this guy does not sound very mentally stable.

On a mostly unrelated note, does anyone know if spidey paid up all those bets he made about the election?

In all fairness it is not only the Left that is guilty in all of this. The Right just happens to be on the side of this law so they can stand up and defend it, but they also instituted the Patriot Act, TSA, etc. It's time both parties got their shit together or gtfo.

I didn't realize trying to sway public opinion or your congressmen was considered a stunt. I certainly didnt hear anyone calling the NRA's commercials and rating of congressmen a stunt.

In fact there is a term for it and its right in the constitution as a fundamental right, its called lobbying.

But of course the fucking morons on the right, like the brain dead OP, always seem to have a problem with people exercising their constitutional rights but not when corporations and paid lobbiests do it and of course they also hold up the constitution as the holy grail of rights but then shit on it any time it's used against something they don't like.

Figures when a group you agree with thinks others shouldn't use their constitutional rights you won't come out and say they are pieces of shit but have no problem calling people out when they do the same thing except you happen to disagree with them.

You are a hypocrite and the number one moron on this site, your posts are nothing but humorous to me and I especially love all the cheerleading you do in every thread one of your "buddies" posts in.

The day you have an original thought will probably be the day anandtech closes.

Talk about a butthurt conservative. The prez wants to pass meaningful gun control laws, as the majority of Americans do, and all the right can do is whine because Obama said, rightfully, that some people want to use stunts to block the vote.

What a bunch of crybabies.

What Constitutional rights? You cant violate the 2nd Amendment rights of law abiding citizens. I support the Constitution unlike you.

How am I a hypocrite? The only moron is you for attacking the Constitution. All of my views are based on the Constitution so it seems you have a problem with the Constitution.

What a bunch of crybabies.

LOL liberal spin.

Brining in netown familes on air force one is a political stunt.

Gun control shouldn't be based on what a bunch of emotional bags want.

Absolutely. It should be based on what the majority of Americans want, and that's gun control laws.

Would you be included as one of those emotional bags? You seem pretty emotional on the subject. Or did you mean it should be based on views from people who disagree with you?

If the majority of Americans want it, sure, why not.

No you idiot. They cant violate free speech like this. You should move somewhere in the middle east.

The US was not meant to be a democracy but a Constitutional Republic.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote- Benjamin Franklin

"Constitutional Republic, " yes. Fair enough.

The gaping hole in your argument is that gun control does not prevent the right to bear arms.

Restriciting gun owners to 7 bullets in their magazines doesnt prevent the right to bear arms. What happens when a single mother has to defend her kids in her house against multiple attackers, 7 bullets isn't enough. This is gun control.
