I'm okay with Nickelback. They get a lot of disdain from everyone now, but they are an acceptable band to listen to. Vanilla ice cream if you will, not exciting but still enjoyable.

I won't say they are talented or have a unique body of work, though. Very generic alternative rock now with the 1,000 other bands that have a similar sound.
