Mad props to Agata Kornhauser-Duda. She figured out the best way to deal with the Trump handshake. Just say fuck you and move on. She did however back up and shake it after greeting Melania first. Didn't want to technically break protocol. She wasn't about to give first billing to our piece of garbage. She gave him the same treatment he gave Merkel in the Oval Office.

While this gave me a chuckle and I do think Trumps handshake is fairly absurd (or at least has been), totally this. Not worth wasting time on. We have enough real issues, let's not have anymore poupongates.
 
No way she would snub the Trump-him showing up there gave their authoritarian regime way too much of a sorely needed public endorsement.

Reading way too much into a simple act.

The weird thing is how buddy buddy Macron seems to be with Trump at this thing, I'd figure that would be a political liability in France.

Plus the fact that Melania is treated as a god in the part of Eastern Europe by many women. She first hit it biggish in international modeling, then more importantly she snagged a rich sugar daddy, and one from the US as well..

I'm what you probably call a leftie. I'm far, far more concerned about the ACTIONS your Trump takes to destroy our democracy and loot the corpse of this country than the moronic tweets and bonehanded statements and stunts he pulls. If was even a semi-competent President who honestly believed and respected the Constitution I'd pretty much ignore him. The reason I chime in on threads like this (or the one where Trump did he take your daughter to work day and let her sit in his chair) is to stress this is unimportant camouflage.
