Policy on using Candidates full names

I'm just curious, what is the official policy on using a Presidential candidates middle name? I've seen several threads locked just because BHO was used just the same as GWB and HRC is used. Two threads even had a decent discussion going.

I find it odd that it's perfectly fine for multiple people to go off on rants about our current President, calling him every name that they can possible think of, yet those threads rarely get locked. But the minute you brink up Barrack Hussein Obama, or BHO, it's an instant lock. Seems a little bit strange don't ya think?

Now, I could maybe understand a lock if someone starts ignorantly using his middle name to somehow tie him to Saddam Hussein, but even still, look at what is allowed with regards to slandering our current President.

Disclaimer - I am not calling out any particular Mods or members, I would just like to know what the reason is behind locking threads that simply contain a candidates middle initial or middle name. Thanks for your time.

Examples -

Does it matter to you that Barack Obama's middle name is Hussein?

How much "hope do you have that BHO will keep his campaign promises?

Do campaign promise results matter?

I'd like to know the answer to this too, so how about Derek comes in this thread and provides an explanation?

I find it a bit odd that all kinds of name-calling against other candidates is condoned, but mods see fit to lock threads just because people are calling Obama by his middle name.

There have been plenty of threads where he has been referred to simply as 'Hussein' that were not locked. Just ask (edit). BHO is used frequently without a lock. Some deliberately claim he's a muslim despite the trinity church connection which they also bring up at every opportunity. Again, just ask (edit).

Edit: Don't mean to single out one Hillary supporter as there's been several.

There were several threads that were locked just because BHO, or Hussein, was used. I haven't seen it happen since I made this thread so I dropped it.
