This club is called CC Slaughters, and caters to the LGBQT demographic, but vows to be non-discrimnatory and straight/hetero people are welcome as well. I've been here once with my wife and it was pretty cool. However, someone just posted this on Facebook. Seems pretty discriminating to me. Opinions?

Dress codes aren't uncommon. Even dive bars have dress codes regarding wearing colors. I don't see why that's an issue.

CC Slaughters allows men to enter in just a thong, and women the same but with tape on their nipples. This isn't a dress code issue at all!

I see no problem with this, besides bachelorette parties are fucking annoying.

It is still a dress code issue, just not a normal one.

Discrimination not found.

If Chick-Fil-A can't oppose gay marriage, then this gay bar should not be allowed to discriminate against straight marriage either. Simple as that.

What's the purpose then? Some dress codes are used as a circuitous route around a different issue. There was a local bar(I never went) that banned baggy pants. The issue wasn't baggy pants, but the ghetto bunnies that wore them to the bar. No baggy pants=no ghetto bunnies.

Well we need to petition to change the law that says lesbians can't have bachelorette parties!

(I can only assume you're being sarcastic, because you cannot be being serious).

Are you joking? This isn't even the same thing.

1. This bar isn't donating money to anti-straight marriage organizations.

2. Chik-fil-a won't let you have a bacholorette party in their store either, straight or gay or whatever.

3. Chik-Fil-A execs can oppose gay marriage all they want. That is their legal right.

Thought Queer = Gay. Is there a difference?

Yes

You've got to be kidding me.

Why?
