Due to the actions of 19 Arabs we have lost a lot of our freedoms. Deny it or acknowledge it, it doesn't change the facts. This current administration is trying to interfere with the lives of regular everyday Americans! Why?
Instead of going after the people who might commit another attack, they are snooping on you and I. What a damn shame. 9/11 should have made us appreciate our freedoms, but instead the republicans have used it to expand their power. Most parts of the Patriot Act are absolutely horrendous. The White House intimidated members of Congress into passing it.
Our shameful politicians passed it right after 9/11 without even studying it properly! This is slowly becoming a police state.
Before you say another word, think about it twice because the KGB (FBI, CIA) might have wiretapped you :disgust:. Whats even more disgusting is our grandmothers have their underwears checked, have their bodies patted down.
If theres a 80 year old woman on the line and a Arab looking guy and they have to pick a person to randomly check, guess who they'll pick? Thats right, the 80 year old grandmother. What a shameful country we live in. And if you think our they're done taking away our liberties, you couldn't be more wrong.
Why do I have to take off my shoes when I board a plane? This is political correctness at its finest. Why do I have have to strip naked? Are we that naive to think that a 90 year old man from Arkansas is going to have a bomb in his underwear? :roll:
You guys forget how the police viciously treated a group of protestors in Florida? Most of them were seniors and Union Members. Protestors were beaten with wooden clubs and taser guns etc. The way we treat our seniors makes me sick.
In order to become the president of America, you must lie and destroy the other guys repuation more than he can. Thats how low we have fallen. We don't elect our politicians on what they have actually achieved in their past lives. Perfect example, the great war hero, Max Cleland was trashed like some Osama lover by Saxby Chambliss. Where is the outrage? Stupid people bought that BS and removed Cleland from office and elected Chambliss. Chambliss ran ads on tv comparing Cleland to Osama.
This is the land of the sheeple, I am convinced.
If your going to go after someone, make sure your going after the right group. We know who the people are that will attack America next, go after them. The Bush administration is disappointing me day after day. John Ashcroft was worried more about a naked breast than the mosques in our country where recruiting might be going on.
