Police pull a dick, but it was worth it

LOL that was hilarious. what's even funnier is that the driver was probably clueless as to what just happened, probably didn't appreciate that he/she didn't get ticketed, and probably learned nothing from this experience...its unbelievable how ignorant and incompetent most drivers are in this country.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but how do we know that car was going "slow". What if the flow of traffic was 10~15 over the limit. If you see a cruiser come up behind you hard isn't the last thing you think to do is speed up? Again, the driver was being stupid but without a radar gun showing his/her speed its hard to tell HOW stupid. Also, the officer was being extremely unprofessional. If he/she wanted or needed around, flipping the lights on for a moment and blipping the siren would have been a far more ideal solution.

As mentioned, the law in NJ is to only use that lane for passing. The guy was clearly in no danger of passing anybody, so the officer was well within his rights to get the guy to move over. He's just lucky the cop didn't feel like actually pulling him over for a verbal warning/harrassment stop.

jlee, do you find that it's actually slower if you turn your lights on? I notice that people tend to slow down in all lanes when a cop has the siren on, almost like they are trying to block the cop or something. People are idiots.
