police killed a woman at the post Redsox win celebration

This pisses me off.

The cops go to extremes to try to avoid injuring people. But you just KNOW that the cops are going to catch all kinds of flak for this accident.

Sigh.

not sure what to say about that....her fault for being a sox fan?

edit: sorry if that offended anyone but...there was a conscious decision somewhere that she made to be in that location at that time. yes its sad but she is somewhat responsible. that is all.

I heard on the radio this morning, that the mayor is trying to get an alcohol ban
in the whole city during the Series!

That'll never work.

Not in Boston, just around the vicinity of Fenway Park.

Sad, and it sounds like she was out there but an innocent bystander.

I fvcking hate all those idiot college kids that go out after to just cause mayhem. They aren't even fans..and this happens in every city now that wins whatever event.

Its fvcked up that this has become the common mentality now for these idiots.

And gigapet---go end yourself, you are sucking up my air.

I hope that cop is punished appropriately for his error in judgement. He knew better then to fire that weapon anywhere near a person's face.

Truly a disgusting remark. You have no class.

suck it noob

Hahah, awesome. But it's true, if she wasn't a red sox fan out to celebrate, it wouldn't have happened

Even though she was innocent and didn't commit any acts of violence, she was still part of the crowd.

I blame it on the police. Although supposedly non-lethal, why couldn't they have used other crowd control mechanisms. Look at NYC during the RNC. The Boston Police should take the blame. The hooligans who committed those acts were probably drunk and bent on destruction, but it's still the "crowd mentality" that sets it off and they shouldn't be the ones to be blamed for the death of the young lady.

I don't feel like reading pages 2 and 3... was she allergic to pepper powder or what?

she got hit dead on in the eye.

I do not condone this at all, but you know it must have been an accident becuase cops don't have that great of a shot. I dunno, I feel bad for the fan, but also, the cops had to deal with more than 40,000 students in a small area - thats quite a task. Some sort of accident was bound to happen...

Its really too bad there had to be a fatality 🙁

I kinda doubt these things have very good accuracy. I also doubt he was anywhere close to her or meant for it to hit anyone in the face.
