Police helcopter hovering around for the past 30 mins

Like the title says: police helicopter has been circling around the area for the past 30 mins now. In and out, in and out. This is getting fucking annoying. Any way to shoo them off?

Also, I can't find any tidbits about what's going on in the news. Inquiring minds want to know.

I hated fucking LA and their three competing and overlapping PD's -- LAPD, Highway Patrol, and LA County Sheriffs -- and the freaking nearly omnipresent helis.

There's your answer.

In all seriousness, I think you can actually listen in on police convos, provided you have the right frequency.

Analog, sure. If it's digital, it'll have to be programmed right.

Probably a car accident or a felony event (car chase, bank robbery, etc.).

MotionMan

EDIT: Try here

Anytime cops are around my block I always just listen to my police scanner. Doubt if that applies to helicopters though.

Yea, because helicopters use smoke signals, not radios.

#1 - set up camcorder

#2 - Grab one of THESE

#3 - Let the lead fly like you're having a nam flahback

#4 - try to upload video before the swat team arrives.

#5 - Profit !!!
